Josh Snow enters his first season as an administrative graduate assistant on the Northwestern State football staff, bringing with him a familiarity with the Southland Conference and experience at the high school coaching level.

He will assist Alvin Slaughter with the NSU receivers. 

Snow most recently was the wide receivers coach at Magnolia West High School in Magnolia, Texas. In that position, Snow ran position meetings, coordinated the defensive scout team, oversaw quality control of the team’s passing game and prepared weekly scouting reports.

A 2016 Sam Houston State graduate in kinesiology, Snow was a wide receiver/quarterbacks coaching intern at his alma mater. He helped coordinate the defensive scout team, monitored student-athletes’ academic progress, provided weekly scouting reports of opponents’ back sevens and pass coverages and also delivered statistical breakdowns.

Snow currently is pursuing a master’s degree in sport administration at Northwestern State.Â
