Jamaal Lewis enters his first season as a administrative graduate assistant on the Northwestern State staff. Lewis will work with the offensive line.
A former letterman at Southwestern Oklahoma State, Lewis spent the past three seasons as the offensive line coach at Cisco College in Cisco, Texas. In addition to his coaching responsibilities, which also included working with the team’s tight ends, Lewis was Cisco’s recruiting coordinator, which included coordinating efforts with high school coaches as well as four-year college coaches.
Lewis also managed film production with the help of student assistants and coordinated team and staff travel.
Prior to his time at Cisco, Lewis spent the 2013 season at his alma mater as a videographer, recording practices and games and utilizing HUDL software to edit, upload and share video within the program.
Lewis earned his undergraduate degree in health and physical education from Southwestern Oklahoma State in May 2014. He currently is pursuing a master’s degree in sport administration at Northwestern State.Â
