Hunter Wright is in his second season as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for football and women’s tennis.
Wright graduated in 2018 from the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in Athletic Training. While at Central Arkansas, he assisted the athletic trainer in men’s and women’s cross country, men’s basketball and football.
He provided in-depth evaluations of injuries to the lower extremities, upper extremities, cervical spine, thoracic spine and lumbar spine, as well as head and face.
A Springdale, Ark., native, he is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, the Arkansas Athletic Trainers’ Association and the Southwest Trainers’ Association. He also is a Certified American Red Cross Professional Rescuer.
Wright is pursuing a master’s degree in health and human performance at Northwestern State.
