After spending the past four seasons as a student assistant at Louisiana Tech, Chase Thompson enters his second season as an administrative graduate assistant on the Northwestern State staff.
    
Thompson’s primary duties will be assisting De’Von Lockett with instructing the Demons’ cornerbacks.
    
In his time at Louisiana Tech, Thompson, a former walk-on wide receiver, gained experience in running the Bulldogs’ summer football camps, designing playbooks and scouting reports and leading scout teams, play charting and breaking down film
    
Thompson graduated from Louisiana Tech with a degree in Kinesiology in November and has experience working with DVSport technology and various recruiting databases.
    
He is pursuing a master’s degree in health and human performance at Northwestern State.
