Blake Kirby is in his second season on the Northwestern State football staff, working with the Demon quarterbacks.

In his first season, Kirby helped develop redshirt freshman Abram Johnston, who led the Demons in passing and ranked second on the team in rushing.

Kirby played four seasons at Belhaven, spending his first three seasons under current Northwestern head coach Blaine McCorkle.

At Belhaven, Kirby threw for 1,258 yards and 12 touchdowns in his career while adding another 62 yards and a score on the ground.

A native of Hernando, Mississippi, Kirby was an Academic All-USA South selection as a senior.

Kirby, a 2025 Belhaven graduate in leadership and coaching, is pursuing a master's degree in health and human performance at Northwestern State.
