After helping develop the Demons defensive linemen in his first season as an administrative assistant on the NSU staff, Alec Osborne will be the primary instructor for the NSU bucks in 2018.

He also will be responsible for assisting Northwestern State’s recruiting efforts in Houston.

In his first season, Osborne helped Obi Iheoma and Lyn Clark earn honorable mention All-Southland Conference honors.

Osborne was a three-year letterman at ULM, earning second-team All-Louisiana honors as a tight end in 2014 when he caught 17 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown.

A two-year starter for the Warhawks, Osborne earned his bachelor’s of business administration degree with a concentration in finance and management in 2015. He completed his master’s degree in sport administration from ULM in May.

Osborne was a member of the ULM Student-Athlete Advisory Committee in 2014 and completed his undergraduate degree in three-and-a-half years with a 3.2 GPA.

He was an honorable mention all-state tight end at Dutchtown High School in Geismar before playing for the Warhawks.
