Biography

High School: D.J. was a freshman standout in his first at Atascocita as he captured the district title in the 400m, 800m and the 4x400 relay and the track nabbed the first of two team championships during his high school years….finished his sophomore season as the district runner-up in 400m with a 0:49 clocking and the 800m in a time of 1:59….re-captured the 4x400 district championship after back-to-back runner-up finishes in the 400m and a third-place finish in the 800m… he capped his final year of high school with two more district titles in the 800m (1:53.7) and 4x400 relay (3:18) and a 4th-place finish in the 400m….the track team was the first in school history to win a meet other than district and the only sport to dominate Kingwood in the first five years….four-year letterman in track….graduated with a 3.74 grade point average.


Personal: Born Donald Joseph Beyette on May 6, 1993….son of Don and Sheailla Beyette…father was in the U.S. Navy and a former boxer…has four step siblings, Holly, Wendy, Mathew and Jason….majoring in engineering… his life’s ambition is to become an Olympian.
