2013 Season Accolades:
Southland Conference Athlete of the Week (10/8/2013)

2012 Season: Ran in six of seven meets for the Demons....had a season-best finish of 10th at the ULM Warhawk Invitational, finishing the 5 mile course in 30:42.8...was the fourth runner for NSU at the SLC Championships, completing the 8000m course in 28:13.2 and placing 60th. 

2011 Season: Competed in six seven meets for the Demons...had a season-best finish of 14th at the Demon Invitational with a 3 mile time of 16:30.5...was the third runner for NSU at the SLC Championships, completing the 8000m course in 28:31.2 and placing 61st.

High School: Track team captured the 5A district championship four consecutive years and grabbed the city and regional championships during his last year of high school….during his senior season, albert became the 5A cross country individual champion along with picking up the mile district championship….completed his high school career placing second at regionals and ninth in the mile event…graduated with a 3.2 G.P.A.

Personal: Born March 23, 1992...son of Homer Mattot, Sr. ...has two sisters, Shon Kherrist and Shaketa Gladney, a NSU graduate…majoring in electronic engineering.
