Played in 28 games with 18 starts and hit .317 on the season with three home runs and 21 RBIs… slugged .500 and had a .374 on-base percentage… tied a career-high with three hits against Louisiana-Monroe and Southeastern Louisiana… went 3 for 5 with two doubles against ULM… went 3 for 5 with two RBIs and a run scored against SLU… went 2 for 5 with a home run, two runs scored and a career-high five RBIs against A&M-Corpus Christi… had seven multi-hit and five multi-RBI games.
2008 Season
Played in 14 games with eight starts and hit .216 with three runs batted in... had a double and scored three runs and stole two bases in three attempts... went 3 for 5 with two runs scored at Southeastern Louisiana and was 2 for 4 with a double at LSU three days later.
High SchoolÂ
Earned all-state, all-district, all-parish, and all-metro as a senior, hitting .444 with eight home runs... also pitched a perfect 5-0 record... a football star, earning All-State, All-District, All-Parish, and All-Metro honors as a wide receiver his sophomore and junior seasons... Holy Cross' Athlete of the Year as a junior... played his senior season at St. Mary's in Natchitoches after being relocated due to Hurricane Katrina... earned all-state, all-district, all-cenla, and district MVP as the team's quarterback.Â
