What is the NSU Soccer Heritage Fund?
The NSU Soccer Heritage Fund is a giving platform designed specifically for Women’s Soccer at Northwestern State University. Our vision for these funds is ultimately to create an environment that will mold our student athletes not only to be better soccer players, but better people as well. It is our desire to enhance our locker room space, update training equipment, and provide unique team building experiences for the development of our student athletes. The goal is that our girls will to be able to look back on their moments as a student athlete at NSU and remember them as the best and most meaningful times of their lives.
There is a rich soccer heritage here at Northwestern State. The past is full of Southland Conference Championships (1997, 2000, 2002, 2005), Regular Season Champions (2000) and NCAA Tournament Appearances (2000, 2002, 2005). We want to get back there, and we need your help!
Whether you are alumni, parent, or a supporter of NSU student athletes, you can invest in our girls and be a part of building a lasting heritage with our women’s soccer program.
What does it cost to join and how long is the membership?
Membership in the Northwestern State Soccer Heritage Fund begins at $50 and that covers you for the current academic year.
What are the funds raised by the Heritage Fund used for?
The NSU Heritage Fund is designed to provide resources that will help elevate the soccer student athlete experience. In the last two years, these funds have accomplished many projects, including new home and away brick benches at the field, two new sets of game uniforms, renovation of the team locker room, and the renovation of the soccer press box to be a team meeting space/film room. There is a big vision to do even more, and we need your help!

Note from Coaches
We are extremely excited to announce the third year of The Heritage Fund. For us, both as players and as coaches, the past 30+ years have been marked by coaches and mentors that have poured their lives into our development. It is our passion to provide that type of environment for our student athletes. We desire to give our girls an amazing college soccer experience, where they graduate not only with a fantastic degree, but with incredible soccer memories, friendships and life skills that will springboard them into the next step in their careers. We believe that special days are here for NSU Women’s Soccer, and we want you to be a part of what we are building! Advanced Level: $250-$599
Elite Level: $600-$1499
Premier Level: $1500+
For the past two years, we have provided various levels of merchandise items for our donors in response to the funds given. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are focusing on maximizing all the funds we receive to go towards the student athlete experience. We are very hopeful that we will be able to bring back the Heritage Fund Merchandise soon! We appreciate your understanding and support of NSU Women’s Soccer in this unprecedented time.
