Has lettered in each of his first two years at Northwestern after sitting out two years following the completion of his high school career ... last season saw action in 15 games and earned one start while veteran center Johnny Martin was out with an injury ... scored just three points during the season, two of those in a loss at McNeese State, and averaged just under one rebound per game ... will have great opportunity to contribute this season after joining the team following the first semester .. one of only two true centers on the squad, so he will  have a chance in the middle ... still lacks game experience and must control foul problems that have been his downfall in his first two years of college career .. played in just 10 of 28 games during his freshman season, but has worked hard since that time and has made steady progress towards being a college player ... after sitting out two years following prep career was discovered in Shreveport airport by NSU Coach Wayne Yates ... as a prep senior averaged 16 points and eight blocked shots per game as a 6-7 center ... has developed more rapidly on defense than on offensive end and will be counted on for his size when he is called upon this season ...
