Katrina Swanigan enters her final season with the Lady Demons and should be a force with the points and also on the boards.

Junior (2002-03): Picked up All-SLC honorable mention honors after averaging 9.6 points and 5.6 rebounds per game ... started all 28 games ... scored a team season-high 30 points at Nicholls State on Feb. 20 and was named the league's player of the week for her efforts ... hit 14 of 19 from the field in that game for a season-high .737 percentage ... led the team with 157 rebounds and second with 43 steals ... scored in double-figures in 15 games ... had two 13 rebound games, vs. Texas State (2/8) and Louisiana-Monroe (2/22) where she also contributed with 20 points ... scored 17 at Texas-Arlington on Mar. 5 ... tied a career-high with four blocks against Louisiana-Monroe (3/11)

Sophomore (2001-02): Season cut short due to knee injury January 28 ... played in 17 games, all starts ... averaged 10.0 ppg and 5.9 rpg .. was the fourth-leading scorer and the third-leading rebounder on the team ... led Lady Demons with 33 blocks despite missing the final 12 games ... top game was a spectacular 23-point, 11-rebound outing at Lamar (12/20) which was her only double-double of the season ... had a stretch of five straight double-figure outings, in which she averaged 14.4 ppg (12/2-12/29) ... scored 15 points, six rebounds at Nicholls State (1/14) .. 11 points, six steals vs. Texas-San Antonio (1/19) ... career-high four blocks vs. Stephen F. Austin (1/7) ... 16 points on 8 for 12 shooting from the field at Sam Houston State (12/18) ... hit the game-winning shot against Jacksonville State.

Freshman (2000-01):  Played in 29 games, starting 15 ... fifth on the team in scoring as a true freshman with 7.8 ppg ... fifth in SLC in blocks at .79 bpg and fifth in offensive rebounds with 2.86 per game ... averaged 5.1 total rebounds per game ... scored double-digits 12 times on the season ... scored a season-high 17 points and pulled eight rebounds in a win over SE Louisiana (2/10) ... scored first double-double of career with 11 points and 12 rebounds vs. Sam Houston State (2/3) .. repeated the feat three games later with 13 points and 11 rebounds while adding three blocks in a win over Louisiana-Monroe (1/27).

Personal: Majoring in Psychology ... daughter of Jackie Johnson and Stan Ellis ... stepfather Anthony Johnson ... has a sister, Josi and one brother, Steven... wants to follow in her mother's footsteps and become a nurse ... her best friend and high school teammate, Shemeka Christon, is a  Wade Trophy candidate for the Arkansas Lady Razorback basketball team.  The two will be reunited when their teams meet on Dec. 18 in their hometown of Hot Springs.
