Preseason All-SLC Selection

La'Terrica Dobin returns for her senior season as one of the top point guards in the nation. Led the nation the last two seasons in assists and will be looking to become the first player in NCAA history to accomplish the feat in three straight seasons.

Junior Season (2002-03): Earned All-SLC first team honors while leading the NCAA and the Southland Conference in assists with a 10.6 per game average ... starter in all 28 games ranking second on the team and seventh in the league with 11.7 points per game ... named the league's player of the week twice ... scored in double-figures 14 games with a career-high 27 points against Texas-San Antonio (1/2) and had eight double-double games (assists-points) ... scored 10-plus points in six games .. set a school record and a career-high with 10 assists versus Idaho State (12/7) ... her 298 total assists leapfrogged the school record 250 she set her sophomore season ... has 672 career assists needing just 26 more to become the school's all-time leader.

Sophomore Season (2001-02): All SLC, All-Louisiana as a sophomore ... starter in all 29 games and played a team-high 36.0 mpg ... led the NCAA in assists at 8.6 apg .. had 10 handouts on 10 separate occasions ... averaged 11.6 ppg and 15.4 ppg in the final eight games of the season ... had a season-high 22 points vs. Texas-Arlington (2/23), and was 10-10 from the FT line as well ... 17 points and 15 assists vs. Sam Houston State (1/26) ... hit the game-winning six footer in OT to beat Southeastern Louisiana ... nine double-doubles on the season (points-assist) ... averaged 18.5 ppg and 8.5 apg in two SLC Tournament games.

Freshman Season (2000-01): Played in all 30 games ... valuable reserve who sparked the Lady Demons and earned All-Louisiana Honorable Mention as a result ... second in the SLC in assists with 4.13 apg ... eighth in SLC in steals with 2.17 per game ... third on team in scoring while leading the team in assists ... reached double-figures in points 11 times ... scored a season-high 23 points and added four assists against Centenary (1/24) ... scored 20 points and five assists vs. Nicholls (12/16).

Freshman (1999-2000): Redshirted

High School: Attended Evangel Christian Academy in Shreveport ... lettered three years in basketball and track, two years in softball ... in basketball, was a second team All-District selection as a sophomore, junior, and senior ... All-State Honorable Mention selection during her junior season ... All-State selection as a senior ... as a junior, helped her team to a district championship finishing with a 21-11 overall record .. as a senior , Dobin averaged 25 points, eight assists, and eight rebounds per game while leading her team to the second round of the playoffs for the second straight season ... led District 1-3A in rebounding despite her 5-3 height ... in track, finished third in the state high jump competition as a freshman ... named All-City in the high jump as a sophomore ... in softball, was a second team all-district selection as a freshman and a sophomore ... was member of Theatre, Speech Club, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Personal: Graduated with a general studies degree over the summer and is currently attending graduate school ... daughter of Cindy and Carlos Manning ... sister of Tar'Tarla and Shircarra ... nicknamed "Cooda"
