2018 Outdoor Season: Competed in 800, 1500, and 5000 meter events during the year with majority of competition coming in the 1500 meter distance…highest finish came at ULM Warhawk Invitational taking third with a time of 4:07.40, also a season best…one other top-five finish came in Leon Johnson NSU Invitational taking fifth with a time of 4:07.83…placed 10th at MSU Cowboy Relays/Bob Hayes La. Challenge (4:16.05), 17^th at TCU Invitational (4:11.09), and 12^th at LSU Alumni Gold (4:10.48)…participated in 800 meter run once on the year at SFA Skecher’s Performance Carl Kight Invitational placing ninth with a time of 2:01.64…also ran in 5000 meters at the same meet earning 11^th overall with a time of 16:01.48
 
2018 Indoor Season: Split his four competitions between the 3000 meter and 5000 meter runs…set a new personal best in the 3000 meters at the TAMU Ted Nelson Invitational, earning a sixth place finish with a time of 8:52.01…his only other mark in the event was a 29^th overall finish at the SLC Championships (8:58.34)…in the longer 5000 meters his best was a 15:24.60 time in the Pittsburg State Gorilla Classic…only other mark was a 23^rd overall finish in the Pittsburg State Invitational (15:36.08).
 
Prior to NSU: Attended Louisiana Tech from 2015 to 2017...received the Conference USA Spirit of Service award...ran both track and cross country...had two top-five finishes in the 2017 Outdoor Season in three meets...finished first in the 800 in the Jim Mize Invitational (1:59.56)...finished fifth in the Louisiana Classic in the 1500 (4:11.61)...had one top-five finish in the 2017 Indoor Season, finishing fifth in the University of South Alabama Invitational in the 3000 (9:06.33)...had three top-five finishes in the 2016 Outdoor Season...finished third in 3000 (8:58.20) and fourth in the 1500 (4:10.89) in the Jim Mize Invitational...finished fifth in the 4x4 in the Leon Johnson Invitational (3:41.26)...competed in the 2016 Indoor Season, had a top-five in the LSU Purple Tiger Invitational in the DMR, finishing third (10:57.03).  
 
High School: Graduated from Captain Shreve High with a 3.83 GPA...winner of the Distinguished Scholar Award for three straight years... Wendy’s high school Heisman award winner...treasurer of the National Honor Society...treasurer of the Key Club...member of Mu Alpha Theta and the National Tech Honor Society...lettered in cross country and track and field all four years of high school...held the high school two mile record...
 
Personal: Son of Derrick and Nacole...plans to join The United States Air Force and become a pilot…life’s ambition is to be the best dad to his children and to the inform the public of healthy eating and the importance of living a healthy life.
