• Four-year letterman for coach Justin Boyd’s Vikings.
• named all-state by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association and the Louisiana Baseball Coaches Association as a senior after posting a 6-1 record and a 1.45 ERA and helping Opelousas Catholic reach the state semifinals.
• also earned first-team all-district, all-parish and all-Acadiana honors as a senior, was chosen to participate in the state All-Star Game and helped lead the Vikings to the state semifinals
• named to the all-state team by the Louisiana High School Coaches Association as a junior while also earning first-team all-district and second-team all-parish acclaim.
• first-team all-district and all-parish as a sophomore after being a second-team all-district choice as a freshman.
• lettered four years in basketball, helping his team to a district championship as a freshman, and one season in football.
