Prior to NSU: Transfer from UL Monroe, where she played in all 30 games, starting nine … averaged 6.1 points and was second on the Warhawks with 75 total assists … scored 15 points on two occasions, doing so against Old Dominion and James Madison … before ULM, Valentine played a season at Clemson, where she played 31 games … one of tree Tigers to shoot at least 34 percent from deep (34.2) … also spent time at Shelton State Community College, playing for her first two seasons … averaged 2.8 points per game and dished out 26 assists, the latter of which finished seventh on the team … Valentine was named First-team NJCAA All-American and Alabama Community College Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Year in 2023 … averaged 16 points and 5.9 points per game at SSCC … named Second Team NJCAA All-America when she averaged 14.1 points and 5.7 assists per game as a freshman.
 
High School: Helped lead Mcgill-Toolen Catholic (Ala.) High to the state championship semifinals in all four of her seasons, including a championship game berth as a freshman … Coastal Player of the Year as a junior and senior … All AHSAA selection all four seasons, including three times on the first team … Regional MVP and Area MVP all four years … named McDonald’s All American Regional finalist … played in North-South All Star and Alabama- Mississippi All Star games … two-year team captain … also played softball.
 
Personal: Daughter of Pamela and Victor Valentine … has two brothers, Niles and Victor II … kinesiology major who plans to go to physical therapy school following graduation with the hopes of opening her own clinic one day that has many different specialists in it, primarily people who specialize in training, recovery, and massage therapy.
