NATCHITOCHES — Northwestern State's men's basketball game scheduled for Saturday afternoon against East Texas A&M on Mike McConathy Court at Prather Coliseum has been postponed due to inclement weather from Winter Storm Fern.

The Southland Conference contest originally was slated for a 3:30 p.m. tipoff. A makeup date will be announced at a later time.

Tickets from the originally scheduled game will be honored for the rescheduled contest. For more ticket information, visit NSUTickets.com.

The postponement comes one day after Northwestern State's women's basketball team also delayed its matchup with the Lions as Winter Storm Fern continued to impact the area.

The Demons are next scheduled to return to action Monday night for a nationally televised road matchup at Stephen F. Austin. Tipoff against the conference-leading Lumberjacks is set for 8 p.m. at William R. Johnson Coliseum.
