NACOGDOCHES, Texas — Northwestern State's men's basketball game originally scheduled for Monday night at Stephen F. Austin has been postponed due to inclement weather from Winter Storm Fern.
The Southland Conference contest was set for an 8 p.m. tipoff inside William R. Johnson Coliseum in Nacogdoches and has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 3 p.m.
Despite the change in date and time, the matchup between the Demons and the conference-leading Lumberjacks will still be nationally televised on CBS Sports Network.
The postponement follows Northwestern State's decision to delay its scheduled Saturday home game against East Texas A&M as Winter Storm Fern continued to impact travel and campus operations across the region.
Northwestern State will continue preparations for the rescheduled contest as it navigates a challenging stretch of Southland Conference play.
