NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State's football season opener on Aug. 28 will be the Demons' annual Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day with special offers available to all current university faculty and staff members.
 
All faculty and staff members can purchase discounted tickets for the 7 p.m. matchup against Alcorn State that opens the Demons' 2025 season.
 
General admission tickets are available for $6 while chairback seats can be purchased for $12 each. Those represent a savings of at least 50 percent over regular ticketed prices.
 
In addition to the discounted tickets, faculty and staff members can pick up free food for themselves at the alumni tailgate while purchasing additional plates for $10 each for family and friends. Faculty and staff members will need to provide a valid Northwestern State ID when picking up their ticket packet, which includes discounted parking in Lot F at $5 (half the regular price).
