HVIDOVRE, Denmark—
Mikkel Johansson finished 10
th in the 100-meter dash at the Danish Championships on Saturday at the Hvidovre Stadion.
Johansson, a sophomore from Aalborg, ran a 10.73 to finish 10
th in the 100, finishing just outside the top eight, which was needed to advance to qualifying for finals.
Tobias Gorgone Larsen and Jason Lubago each ran a 10.72, collecting the last two qualifying spot, just in front of Johansson and two others, who all ran a 10.72.
Valentin Jensen won the event, clocking a 10.46 to finish a little ahead of Simon Hansen, who ran a 10.51.
Eight runners clocked between a 10.67 and 10.73.
Johansson returns to the track Sunday when he competes in the 200-meter dash, as well as
Djimon Gumbs competes in the shot put at the Jamaican Championships.
