NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State fans looking for a weekend of fun are in luck.
 
A pair of Northwestern teams will compete in south Louisiana on Nov. 8-9, and the NSU Athletic Department and Alumni Association have partnered to present a pair of opportunities for fans to celebrate their favorite teams.
 
There will be a "Cocktails with the President" event ahead of Northwestern's women's basketball matchup against nationally ranked LSU on Nov. 8 and a pregame tailgate ahead of the Demon football team's Nov. 9 matchup at Southeastern Louisiana.
 
"Cocktails with the President" will take place from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Baton Rouge home of Terri and Joe Cunningham. Additionally, tickets are on sale for $10 apiece and will be located in the NSU section at the game.

NSU fans are invited to gather at Brady's, located at 110 SW Railroad Ave., from 2:30-5 p.m. ahead of the 6 p.m. kickoff against SLU.
