NATCHITOCHES – Due to COVID-19 concerns with the Jackson State program, Tuesday night's volleyball match between Northwestern State and Jackson State has been canceled.
 
The teams will attempt to find a new date for the contest later in the season if one is mutually available for both sides. The Demons have midweek matches already in place for the next two weeks leading up to the beginning of Southland Conference play on Sept. 21 at New Orleans.
 
NSU's next match will be its second straight against a Pac-12 opponent when it travels to No. 17 Washington State on Friday to play in the Cougar Challenge in Pullman, Wash., the farthest trip West for the program since 2005.
