NATCHITOCHES—Registration is now open for three upcoming Northwestern State soccer camps.

The first camp is the Lil' Demons Winter Soccer Camp on Dec. 1.

It is followed by the Lil' Demons Soccer Camp on Jan. 15.

Both of these camps are open to boys and girls from kindergarten through eighth grade.

The final camp is the Elite ID Camp on Jan. 28, open to girls from ninth grade through college sophomores.

All three camps take place at the Lady Demon Soccer Complex.

Both the Lil' Demons Winter Soccer Camp and Lil' Demons Soccer Camp give youngsters the opportunity to learn from and interact with NSU Soccer staff and current NSU soccer student-athletes and develop his/her soccer skills in a collective effort with our camp staff.

The winter camp takes place from 5:30-7:30 on Dec. 1 and cost of the camp is $25 per camper, while the Lil' Demons Soccer Camp takes place from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. on Jan. 15. The cost of the Lil' Demons camp is $50.

"These holiday themed kids camps should be a lot fun as we look to continue to build a relationship with the local youth soccer community," head coach Ian Brophy said.

The Elite ID Camp will be 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Jan. 28 and will cost $100 per athlete. There are team registration discounts available for five or more athletes from same team.

During the camp, athletes will learn about the vision for women's soccer at NSU and experience their coaching styles and philosophy on the field. The athletes will also have the opportunity to interact with the current NSU soccer players.

There will be technical and tactical training sessions, as well as a question and an answer session and campus tour during the camp.

"The Elite ID camp will be integral to our recruiting as we finish our 2024 recruiting class and look to start building the 2025 and future recruiting classes as well," Brophy said.
