HAMMOND — The Southland Conference has made further adjustments to its softball conference tournament due to inclement weather. 

Northwestern State will begin tournament play Thursday in the double-elimination portion of the bracket at a time that has yet to be determined. The No. 4-seeded Lady Demons will play the winner between No. 5-seeded Southeastern Louisiana and No. 8-seeded Abilene Christian. 

The matchup between the Lady Lions and Wildcats takes place Wednesday at St. Thomas Aquinas High School at 7:30 p.m.
