NATCHITOCHES – The threat of severe weather has postponed the Southland Conference baseball series opener between Southeastern Louisiana and Northwestern State that was originally scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
 
The teams now will play a 3 p.m. Saturday doubleheader at Brown-Stroud Field. Sunday's 1 p.m. game is still on as scheduled.
 
Saturday will mark the third doubleheader of the season for the Demons, who have split their first two twinbills of the season.
