Box Score SAN ANTONIO – Sophomore forward
April Trowbridge struck first with a goal early in the second half, but the lead didn't stand Friday at UTSA.
The Roadrunners netted three second-half goals to push the pass the Lady Demons, 3-1.
"I'm disappointed and the team is disappointed in the loss," said NSU coach
George Van Linder. "This was a game that we had the lead in the second half, and we had players that are experienced enough to keep that lead, and we didn't.
"Credit UTSA for continuing to battle. We talked to the players about the mistakes tonight, and we agreed they shouldn't have happened. They know that a win got away tonight."
