NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State's Victory Tour event for supporters scheduled Wednesday evening in Baton Rouge has been cancelled, athletics director Greg Burke said Monday.

 

"In light of recent tragic events in Baton Rouge and out of respect for all involved, NSU has decided that the timing is not appropriate to hold an event of this nature at this time," said Burke.

 

NSU Athletics is considering rescheduling the event in Baton Rouge later this summer, he said.
