NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State soccer signee Andrea Rodriquez has been invited to participate with the Mexican U-20 National Team camp.

Rodriquez, a Mexican national who has played at Montverde Academy the past two seasons, has played on Mexican youth national teams in her career.

"We are proud of Andrea to receive this continued recognition from the Mexican National Team," said NSU coach George Van Linder. "This is an experience of a lifetime, and the fact that she has been to several national team camps in the past few years speaks highly of her ability.

"She has continued to work hard and has a bright future. We are excited to play a role in her development in the future and excited to see how she complements her new team here in a few months."

Rodriquez is part of a six-player signing class that includes five incoming freshmen and one college transfer.
