Natchitoches-area cable television customers can watch the important announcement of a partnership between two valuable community entities, the Northwestern State Athletic Department and Natchitoches Regional Medical Center.
 
A four-year partnership agreement announced Friday makes NRMC the "Official Health Care Provider for NSU Athletics."
 
The 20-minute event will replay on NSU TV through Friday, Sept. 25 daily at 3 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.  NSU TV can be seen on SuddenLink Channel 22, CP-Tel Channel 55 and UP1 & UP2 Channel 1.
 
Announcement of the partnership was made by NSU president Dr. Jim Henderson, director of athletics Greg Burke and NMRC chief executive officer Kirk Soileau. The agreement was approved Thursday by the Board of Supervisors of the University of Louisiana System, which includes Northwestern State.
 
Davey Antilley is the general manager and director of NSU TV, which provides programming of university and community events to local viewers. NSU students help facilitate programming that includes replays of many NSU athletic events, panel discussions and educational discussions and productions.
