NATCHITOCHES – The Northwestern State softball program is moving its 2015 Winter Elite Camp to Dec. 20 at Lady Demon Diamond.

The original camp scheduled for this Sunday has been rescheduled to Dec. 20 (also a Sunday) because of expected inclement weather.

Softball players ages 12-18 are invited to the camp to learn from NSU head coach Donald Pickett, his staff and current Lady Demon players.

The cost is $100 per camper, and the camp runs 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

The one-day camp will include hitting, defensive and pitching skills.

Campers can register online at nsudemons.com/sbcamps, by filling out a printed brochure or by completing a digital brochure and emailing to assistant coach Kaylee Guidry (guidryk@nsula.edu).

Payment should be by check or cash, and the payment can be mailed or brought with the camper on Dec. 20. The proper mailing address is Northwestern State University Fieldhouse, Lady Demons Softball, 398 Caspari Street, Natchitoches, LA, 71497.

Campers are asked to bring a sack lunch, bat and glove and proper clothing for expected weather. Pitchers must bring their own catcher.
