NATCHITOCHES – Natchitoches-area residents can enter a drawing Friday at the local Chili's Restaurant to become the "Chili's Tailgate Warrior of the Game" for the Northwestern State home football finale Saturday night at Turpin Stadium.
 
The winner will get a catered tailgate party for 10 people, tailgating space in NSU's Demon Alley and game tickets for 10, said NSU associate director of athletics Adam Jonson. The drawing will be held Friday at the Natchitoches Chili's, located on Keyser Avenue.
 
The lucky fan will also be recognized during the game on the field as the Demons play host to in-state rival Nicholls in  a 6 p.m. Southland Conference contest.
 
"It's always fun when we're able to actively engage our fans and our corporate sponsors to add to our game atmosphere. Our staff does a fantastic job of providing an exciting gameday, and our corporate sponsors are often a big part of the things we're able to do," said Jonson. "We look forward to notifying the Chili's Tailgate Warrior and then watching the group enjoy the NSU football game-day experience."
