Box Score NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Chelsea Raymond and Hailey Hunt gave Stephen F. Austin a 2-0 win over the Northwestern State women's soccer team Sunday afternoon in the Lady Demons' conference opener.
 
Chelsea Raymond (3) gave SFA (6-2-1, 1-1-0) a lead with goal in the 12^th minute when she beat NSU (2-6-0, 0-1-0) goalkeeper Jessica Danku to the left side of the net.
 
Danku played the entire match and made 11 saves of the Ladyjacks' 13 shots on-goal.
 
In the 49^th minute, Hailey Hunt scored her second goal of the season on an assist from Melissa Gaudet to the front of the net.
 
Brooke Eastburg led the Lady Demon in shots with two with one on-goal.  Jackie Strug, Taylor Mulnix, Chelsea Schaefer and Camila Ardila each took an attempt.
 
Hunt and Gaudet each took for shots for SFA; Hunt had two on-goal and Gaudet had one.
 
Northwestern State has scheduled its make-up game with Lamar on Tuesday at 7 o'clock in the Lady Demon Soccer Complex.  On Friday, the NSU will travel to Houston Baptist before returning home for a five-game home stand in one week.
