FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Sophomore
Emmanuel Williams led the Northwestern State men's track team on Friday as the Demons competed in the first day of Arkansas' Tyson Invitational, with the bulk of the competition set for Saturday.
Williams registered a third place finish against nationally-ranked opponents with a season-best long jump mark of 23-06.25 and was the only Demon to place in the top three.
Keenan Jackson also recorded a season-best, running the 400m in 49.52 and placing 39
th.
The Demons will continue competition on Saturday.
