LITTLE ROCK – The Northwestern State Lady Demon soccer team will travel to Arkansas Little-Rock for a non-conference match-up on Friday.

NSU (2-4) notched their second win of the season Monday as they defeated LSU-Shreveport 3-0. Ashlee Savona's two assists to Yanci Johnson and Taylor Mulnix helped lead the Lady Demons over LSUS.

UALR (2-6) defeated Arkansas Pine-bluff (1-7) 4-0 on Sunday. Sophomores Alyson Rohane and Ariel Galletti currently lead UALR with two goals each, and have started all seven contests for the Trojans.

 Johnson currently leads NSU with four goals, followed by Savona with two goals and three assists.

Sophomore Chelsea Schaefer also scored as she found the rebound off a free kick from Becca Furlow.

In 2011, the Lady Demons came out on top against the Trojans 4-2.
