LAFAYETTE – Northwestern State softball's Saturday game against UL-Lafayette at the ULL Mardi Gras Invitational has been postponed due to heavy rainfall.

The Lady Demons will resume their game against No. 25 North Carolina at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday. The game had previously been started Friday evening, but was postponed with a 0-0 score after four innings when the rain started to pour down.

NSU will square off against No. 20 UL-Lafayette at 5:45 p.m. on Sunday. The Lady Demons' games against Northwestern University and Texas-El Paso have been cancelled.
