Savona sealed the win when she took advantage of a fumble by the Cardinals' goalkeeper and scored with less than 21 minutes remaining.
The Lady Lions defeated Oral Roberts 2-0 on Sunday as it earned its third shutout in a row. The win put Southeastern above ORU in the league standings, securing a seed in the Southland Conference Tournament.
