JACKSON, Miss. - The Northwestern State soccer team will continue its road stint on Friday when it travels to face Jackson State at 4 p.m.
The game is the last of a three-game road trip and fifth game away from home in the first six games of the 2011 campaign.
The Lady Demons (3-2) are coming off a 2-0 loss last Sunday at Houston Baptist where high winds from Tropical Storm Lee handicapped the offense.
This is the third straight season that NSU has faced Jackson State in a series that began in 2009. The Lady Demons blanked the Tigers 3-0 last year in Natchitoches and won by an identical 3-0 score in 2009 in Jackson.
Northwestern will return to the Lady Demon Soccer Complex Sunday when it goes up against Conference USA member Tulsa at 2 p.m.
