Dozens of student-athletes among Fall 2011 graduates

NATCHITOCHES -- Dozens of Northwestern State student-athletes are participating in Northwestern State University's Fall 2011 commencement exercises Friday in Prather Coliseum.

More than 40 student-athletes and athletic staff are receiving degrees during mid-morning and mid-afternoon ceremonies.

Check back to nsudemons.com later this afternoon for a complete list of the graduates, several whom are receiving high academic honors and one, football player Yaser Elqutub, who has received an unprecedented award from the university.
