Pellegrin joined the Northwestern State sports information staff in March 2005 and also works with the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Foundation.

A Houma native, she earned her bachelor of arts from Nicholls State in 2000.  Before moving to Natchitoches, she worked as a call-center manager for four years in Starkville, MS.

She is married to Dr. Charles Pellegrin, Assistant Professor of History at Northwestern. Dr. Pellegrin offers courses in History of U.S. Foreign Relations, Modern Japan, Modern China, and U.S. Military History. He earned his Ph.D. from Mississippi State in 2005 after his M.A. from Louisiana-Lafayette in 1990 and his bachelor of arts from Nicholls in 1988
