Doniel Greiner II (MAT, ATC, LAT) joined the Northwestern State University Sports Medicine staff in July 2026 as an assistant athletic trainer.
His primary responsibilities include providing athletic training services for the Demons football and track and field programs.
Originally from Davenport, Iowa, Doniel earned a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science from Cornell College before earning a Master of Athletic Training from Culver-Stockton College.
Prior to joining Northwestern State University, Doniel completed athletic training immersion experiences at the University of Missouri, where he worked with the Tigers football and women's soccer programs. He also completed clinical rotations at Culver-Stockton College and Quincy University, providing athletic training
services for football, baseball, basketball, and other collegiate student-athletes.
Doniel is licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners and is certified by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOC). He maintains CPR/AED and Stop the Bleed certifications and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association.
