Cole Jordan is in his first season as graduate assistant on the Northwestern State strength and conditioning staff, coming to Natchitoches in January.
He will assist with the NSU football program and will be the primary strength and conditioning coach for the softball program.
Jordan comes to Northwestern after spending a year and a half working with the 2025 College Football Playoff national champion Indiana football program.
Jordan interned with the Indiana football program, assisting with gameday strength and conditioning procedures, setup of GPS technology and the weight room.
Jordan also aided the IU Performance nutrition staff. An Indiana graduate in exercise science, Jordan spent the summer of 2025 as a strength and conditioning intern at Georgia, assisting with the football program.
A native of Centerville, Indiana, Jordan is pursuing a master’s degree in sport administration at Northwestern State.
