Alex Light enters his first season on the Northwestern State staff, assisting with the offensive line.

Light played four seasons at Richmond where he was coached by current Northwestern head coach Blaine McCorkle. An ironman at Richmond where he started 39 straight games, Light was named third-team All-American and first-team All-CAA in 2017.

Light spent parts of the 2018 and 2019 seasons with the Green Bay Packers and the 2019 and 2020 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys.

Light has spent the past five-plus years as a strength trainer and as an offensive line instructor.
