Started 24 matches and played in 88 total sets...finished second on the team with 303 kills, her second straight 300-kill season...led the team in total attempts for the second year in a row with 980...finished in the top 10 in the conference in kills per set at 3.44 and points per set at 4.00...was third on the team with 274 digs with a 3.11 dig per set rate for the year...set a career high with 24 kills in a four-set win against UL Laffayette (9/6) with a career-best .388 attack percentage...had 23 kills with just four errors against HCU (10/31) joining Reaghan Thompson as the only teammates to each have 20 kills in a single match in program history...her 23 kills were tied for the sixth most in a match by any player on the season during conference play...totaled 15 of her 22 kills in the final two sets against New Orleans (11/14) going a perfect 7-for-7 in the fourth set...had 13 matches with 10 or more kills and 15 matches with 10 or more digs...totaled 10 double-doubles on the season...had double-digit digs in eight of the first nine matches of the season...led the team with 28 aces, collecting 10 of them over the final five matches of the year...averaged 4.00 points per set making her and teammate Reaghan Thompson the first teammates to each average four or more points per set at NSU in the rally scoring era...finished her career at NSU with a 3.08 kill per set rate, the fifth highest in program history...ranks seventh in career digs per set at 3.31 and is third in career points per set with a 3.65 average.

2023 Season
     Southland Commissioner's Honor Roll

Appeared in and started all 31 matches on the season...led the team in kills with 304 and finished second in digs with 378 and third on the team in blocks with 75...she became the sixth different player at NSU to record a 300 kill-300 dig season, doing so for just the eighth time in program history...led the team with 367.5 points and a 3.37 point per set average...led the Southland Conference among outside hitters in both digs and blocks and finished ninth in the league among all players in digs per set at 3.47...in conference matches had the 10th best point per set average in the league at 3.63...was the most set attacker in the conference with 1,134 attempts for the year, the 10th most in a single season at NSU...reached double-digit kills in 16 different matches and double-digit digs in 21 matches...recorded 12 kill-dig double-doubles on the season including a stretch of four in five matches in late Sept. and three straight in late Oct...had a season-high 19 kills in two matches during conference play vs. Southeastern (Sept. 14) and Lamar (Sept. 28)...hit a career-best .394 with 15 kills and just two errors against Texas A&M-Commerce (Nov. 16) in the conference tournament...set a career high with 27 digs at Texas Southern (Sept. 5), one of her three 20-dig matches on the season...had three or more blocks in 12 matches...had her career-best six blocks come once against Drake (Sept. 2) and twice during conference play vs. Nicholls (Sept. 23) and at Southeastern (Oct. 14).

Prior to NSU
Played two seasons at Wyoming, appearing in 122 sets across 45 total matches...had over 100 kills and 100 digs in her second season with the Cowgirls with 24 total blocks and 165.5 points scored...averaged 2.21 points per set in 2022...had five total double-digit kill matches for Wyoming, setting a career best with 14 against San Diego State (Oct. 29, 2022)...recorded her first career double-double with 11 kills and 10 digs against Nevada (Oct. 8, 2022).

High School
Four-year letter winner and four-time all-district selection at Alvin HS including three first-team honors...following her senior season, Garza was an Under Armour All-American nominee and a 6A district MVP...she earned TAVC All-State honors as a junior and named to the All-Galveston County and GHVCA All-Conference Second-Team in 2018...named a U15 All-American in 2018. 

Personal
Daughter of Katy and Ray Garza...has four siblings, two brothers and two sisters...younger sister Ana plays for Southland foe HCU...mom Katy was a two-time All-American volleyball player at Texas and inducted into the Longhorn's Hall of Honor in 2014...dad Ray was a pitcher for Sam Houston...majoring in business and wants to pursue a career in coaching while helping her mom run her volleyball club (Absolute Volleyball Academy in Webster, Texas).
