Rachel Ehrman

Rachel Ehrman is in her second year as a graduate assistant on the Northwestern State athletic training staff and her second season as the primary athletic trainer for the Lady Demon volleyball team. She will also serve as the primary athletic trainer for softball for the 2023 season.

Ehrman graduated from the University of Missouri in May of 2021 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Athletic Training and a Wellness minor and also received a Certificate in Multicultural Studies. During her time as a student at Mizzou, she worked with various Tiger programs including football, volleyball and track & field. She spent two seasons with the Mizzou football team gaining knowledge and experience with various recovery practices and equipment.

In one season with the Missouri track & field team she helped instruct numerous athletes through rehab programs via exercises. She also performed different therapeutic modalities on athletes aimed at quick recoveries after practices or competitions.

She also worked at the 2020 SEC diving championships and the 2020 NCAA volleyball championship tournament.

Ehrman is certified by the American Red Cross in Psychological First Aid: Supporting Yourself and Others During COVID-19 and in Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association and is pursuing her Master’s in Science in Health Promotion while at Northwestern State.
