Alexis Ring

Alexis Ring

Alexis Ring enters her second year as a graduate assistant on the Northwestern State athletic training staff.
 
She serves as the primary athletic trainer for the Lady Demon volleyball team.
 
Ring is an Athletic Training graduate of Iowa State University. While in Ames, she worked with the football, swimming and diving, and track and field teams. In those sports, she assisted with several long term rehabilitations, aided in administration of player physicals, and had experience with rehabilitation and therapeutic modalities.
 
She oversaw multiple first-year athletic training students and their work with the Cyclone football team while assisting the athletic training staff. She was also the president of the Fellowship of Athletic Training Club at Iowa State.
 
She has volunteer experience working with the Iowa High School State Wrestling and Special Olymics, worked at both the Iowa State and Big XII indoor track meets, and multiple high school track and cross country meets.
 
She is American Red Cross, CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers and Blood Borne Pathogens and Sharps Safety Training for 2018, and a member of the National Athletic Training Association.
