Played three seasons for Beta Sports Club and one for Mavisehir Sports Club in Izmir…placed fifth in the regional finals with Beta in her senior season…won the Turkish Youth playoffs with Mavisehir as a junior and was fifth in Turkish Championship…age group champion as a sophomore and was the high school championship regional runner up in her freshman year…served as team captain of both her 13u and 14u club teams.

Daughter of Arzu Erdem and Can Özipek…has a sister, Selin…cousin Aycan (Gokberk) Kara was a two-time All-American and 1995 SEC Player of the Year at Florida and a member of the Turkish national team…majoring in psychology and wants to open her own clinic to, “create a safe space for people to receive the support they need.”…plays drums…won a photography contest in middle school…helped lead a project to build an inclusive playground in Izmir for children with disabilities.
