Appeared in 30 matches on the season and finished second on the team with 206 kills and third in kills per set at 2.12...turned in her second straight season with 200 or more kills and 50 or more blocks giving her the third highest point total for the team on the season at 235.0...recorded dobule-figure kills eight times on the season with her season-best 15 coming against New Orleans (Oct. 19)...set a new career high with a .643 hitting percentage against Nicholls collecting nine kill on 14 error-free swings...produced eight matches with attack percentages above .300...totaled 27 kills and a .352 attack percentage across two straight matches against UNO and at Nicholls, her best two-match span of the season...turned in three or more blocks in 11 different matches with a span of four straight such matches in early Sept.

2022 Season

Started in 26 matches and played in all 32 on the season and led the team with 338 kills, the first 300-kill season of her career...also led the team in kills per set with 2.54, points (375.0) and points per set (2.82)...had double-figure kills in nine straight matches that included the first five conference matches of the year...reached 10 kills in a match 19 times on the season...had a season-best 18 kills against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Sept. 29)...set a career best attack percentage of .542 against Texas Southern (Sept. 20) with 15 kills and two errors on 24 total attempts...named offensive player of the week after 14 or more kills in a three match span and averaged 3.75 kills per set during that week.

2021 Season

Started every match during the season and saw action all but two sets during the year...finished second on the team with 286 kills and a 2.67 kill/set average and was third on the team in total blocks with 42.0, the most among pin-hitters on the team...had double-digit kills in 17 matches on the year with her best, an 8-of-10 match stretch, coming near the end of non-conference play...had a season-best 19 kills against UTA (Sept. 18) and went 15-1-26 for a .538 attack percentage, a career best, against Prairie View A&M (Sept. 17)...had 10 ore more kills in nine of the 14 conference matches and hit over .350 in four of those...ended the season ranked in the top 10 in the conference in points/set (2.97) and kills/set (2.67).

2020-21 Season
     2020-21 Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll

Started 10 matches in her freshman season and played in all 43 sets…led the team with 113 kills and a 2.63 kill per set average…reached double figures in kills in four matches including three consecutive within a week's time…set a season-high during that stretch with 15 kills and 14 digs (her only double-double of the season) against UIW (March 13)…her best offensive match of the season came in her second match at NSU where she hit .421 with 12 kills on 19 swings against Louisiana Tech (Jan. 28) adding a season-best four aces in the match…had three or more blocks on three different occasions including back-to-back four-block matches.

High School
Four-year letter winner and four-time district champion at Kingwood HS for coach Christie Mewis ... earned first-team all-district honors following both her junior and senior season and named District 22-6A MVP following her senior season finishing her prep career with more than 1,000 kills ...  named to the GHVCA All-Area team twice and TAVC 6A All-State team as a senior ... picked up All-Vype outside hitter honors on two occasions and was named second-team all-Vype after her senior year ... member of the TGCA All-Star team following her junior season ... served as vice president of the National Technial Honor's Society as well as being a member of the Health Occupations Students of America at KHS.

Personal
Majoring in exercise science with concentration in physical therapy ... youngest child of Stephanie and Tim Burrell ... has one brother, Brandon, who played basketball at UT-Permian Basin, and a sister, Brittany, who is a NICU nurse ... career plans are to become a physical therapist and eventually work with the NFL or NBA ... life's ambition is to be successful in whatever she tries to do and be a positive person in people's lives.
