Southland Conference Female Athlete of the Year ... earned 27 points in the Southland Conference Championships with three golds and two bronzes ... Prior to NSU: Transfer from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan … Found the podium four times as a freshman … Claimed the bronze in the 400 in the Horizon League Indoor Championships, clocking a 57.20 … member of the 4x400 relay team that claimed gold in the conference outdoor championships with a time of 3:48.07 … earned the silver in both the 400 (55.58) and as a member of the 4x100 relay team (46.09) … finished in the top four at the indoor and outdoor conference championships in seven of the eight events … won the 400 at the Oakland Last Chance Meet with a collegiate best 55.43 … posted collegiate bests in the long jump (19-3.5) at the Golden Grizzly T&F Invite and the 200 (25.03) at the GVSU Big Meet, finishing first and second in the meets.

Personal: Daughter of Jackee and Dionne Finney … has two brothers (Dionne Finney Jr. and Jaden Finney) and two sisters (Jaz Fenderson and Shayla Hollis) … biology major who would like to attend dental school and become a general dentist and get certified in welding.
