Caroline Bland enters her first season as a graduate assistant for Northwestern State where she is the contact for women's tennis.
As an undergrad, she worked as a student worker for NSU Sports Information where she was the contact for tennis during the 2022 season for which the Lady Demons were Southland Conference regular season champions. Her duties included writing pregame and recap stories as well as interviewing coaches and players.
Bland also worked as a live stats statistician for the 2022 volleyball season and assisted with football stats during home football games.
As a junior, Bland was the inaugural recipient of the Carley McCord Memorial Scholarship that was created to benefit a female student pursuing a career in sports journalism and media.
Bland is pursuing a master's in sport administration at Northwestern State.
