Biography

Student assistant coach Marie Scriba brings a knowledgeable and experienced role to the courts for a second year.

Scriba was a player for Northwestern State, before suffering a career ending inury in spring of 2008, finishing her career with a combined record of 9-3 in 2007 and 2008 seasons.  In doubles, her career record was 14-8, playing in all three positions.

Before coming to NSU she attended Clemson and was ranked in the top 10 juniors in France along with playing on the French Junior National Team.  Scriba played in the Junior French Open in 2001.

She is a psychology major with a concentration in substance abuse in sports with a 3.98 GPA.  She plans to obtain at least a master's degree after undergrad and hopes to be a clincal psychologist.
